Red Cone Creek & Ruby Falls, The Kimberley
Cruise through the winding river with sheer walls of rock formations on either side until you reach Ruby Falls. Take a short climb up the terraced cliffs and be rewarded with an elevated perspective of the wild surrounds. Enjoy a serene and secluded swimming hole fed by cascading waterfalls and tumbling streams framed with with ornate pandanus trees.
Birdwatchers should keep their eyes peeled for some of the diverse birdlife often spotted in the area including the White-bellied Sea Eagle and Brown Honeyeaters. A peaceful drift amongst the mangroves is a great opportunity to spot some winged friends.
