To the Heart of the Reef & Outback Landmark Events

Join us on our special new voyage over the holiday season as we uniquely combine the essence of the Great Barrier Reef and the spirit of the Queensland outback. On this never to be repeated departure, we have three exciting signature events: a private jet ride for a day in the outback, a trip to the Whitsundays by yacht for a seafood lunch and two indulgent gala dinners with a rare comparative tasting of 10 Langton wines.

A Day in the Outback

Be whisked away by private jet to the heart of the iconic Australian outback for a classic pub lunch and bask in an outback sunset in great company. Owner and founder of Outback Aussie Tours, Alan ‘Smithy’ Smith will be our guide. Smithy calls the historic Rosebank Station Homestead home. Built in the early 1900s, the homestead has a been a part of Smithy’s family partnership for some 70 years. There is no better guide for our time in this rural location, with over 30 years of experience guiding visitors around his country stomping grounds. Feel at home with the warm hospitality characteristic of Longreach, share in countryside storytelling and enjoy an authentic Australian experience before jetting back to the comfort of your ship stateroom that night.

Sail by Chartered Yacht to a Seafood Lunch at the Whitsundays

Feel the ocean breeze against your skin as you sail by chartered yacht to the famous white sands of Whitehaven beach. Renowned internationally and championed as Australia’s best beach, the Whitsundays beauty runs deep with a rich ecosystem and fringing coral reefs. The Ngaro people are the traditional custodians of this picturesque location where coastal she-oaks cast shadows on the sand and seabirds soar above the shoreline. Here we will indulge in a luxe barefoot luncheon on the silica sands. Welcome champagne, barramundi and Moreton Bay Bugs are among the delicacies on the menu. That evening, sail back to Coral Geographer while enjoying the colours of the approaching sunset.

Two Luxurious Evenings Sipping on Australia’s Finest Wines

The voyage will open and close with a gala dinner featuring fresh local produce paired with 10 of Langton’s wines from their ‘Exceptional’ classification. Developed in 1990 and now in its seventh edition, Langton’s Classification is renowned internationally for setting the benchmark for Australia’s finest wines. To earn the title of Exceptional in the Classification, a wine must be, “The most highly prized of all Australian fine wines. Representing generations of effort and character of place.” We invite you to take part in this rare opportunity to sample 10 of these wines in a comparative tasting alongside a curated menu showcasing The Atherton Tablelands, known for high quality produce. Oysters paired with House of Arras Brut Elite and wagyu flat iron alongside Moss Wood Cabernet Sauvignon is just a small taste of the mouth-watering menu.
